Texas811's Extensive Training
Texas811 puts training and quality at the forefront of everything we do. To ensure we continue our pursuit of damage prevention and public safety we offer extensive hands on training to every employee. We provide training that includes Texas, West Virginia, Minnesota and South Dakota. Our training includes mapping, soft skills and all processes involved. Words such as quality, perfection, accuracy and assurance come to mind when I think of our training department and 811 staff. We have built a culture based off individuality, quality and customer service. Each trainee is provided with all the tools and skills needed to do their job. A state of the art training facility and a “welcomed” open door policy allows our staff to stay up to speed with the ongoing growth of what we do.
After joining the training department over 2 years ago I found a passion in helping others to become the best and succeed in our company. I’ve been given the opportunity to make changes that positively influence our business. The growth of Texas811 has created room for a Training Manager as well as two Training Coordinators. The department consists of Cassie Shields, Rolando Chairez, and me. We work together closely as a team and with other departments. Our commitment and can do attitudes make coming to work exciting each day. If I were asked what I love about my job I would say it’s the pleasure and comfort of working at such a great place.
