Q. I need to update a ticket.

A. You have a few ways to process tickets. The most efficient way is through our Member Portal. You can enter your ticket number and get your confirmation right away. Please visit https://txgc.texas811.org/geocall/portal/ to sign up. You may also contact “811” to get your ticket updated by an agent.

Q. I have a question about the law.

A. Please visit damage prevention laws for all questions pertaining to the law. If you need additional assistance please email info@texas811.org and we will assist you as much as possible.

Q. Where can I get promotional materials?

A. Please visit http://www.texas811.org/additional-information/promotional-materials to order Texas811 promotional materials.

Q. What is a “Member”?

A. A Texas811 Member is a facility owner/operator that is notified by Texas811 when digging will take place near their underground facilities.

Q. Are you hiring?

A. Texas811 is currently hiring Damage Prevention Agents. If you are interested in applying, please follow this link http://bit.ly/TX811DPA to complete the FIT test and to submit your resume.

Q. I am a member with Texas811 and need assistance, who do I contact?

Q. If I submit locate requests, am I a member?

A. No. A Texas811 Member is a facility owner/operator that is notified by Texas811 when digging will take place near their underground facilities.

Q. How do I sign up for membership with Texas811?

A.  If you would like to sign up for membership with Texas811, please email our Member Relationship Managers at MemberRelations@Texas811.org.

Q. I cut a line. What do I do?

A. Contact “811” to get a “Digup” ticket processed. Visit http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/TPD/publicHomeAction.do to file a damage report with the RR Commission.

    • Information regarding the locate ticket will only be released to the individual representing the company that requested the ticket.
